There may not be a lot of big name golfers making the trek down the Memphis this week, but there will be enough to make it interesting for us fantasy golf fans. To help you pick the ideal fantasy foursome, are five golfers to avoid at all costs during the 2014 FedEx St. Jude Classic.

5. Justin Leonard

Leonard won this tournament back in 2008 and the veteran has always been a popular fantasy option at TPC Southwind. Unfortunately, lately he has started to struggle on this course. In his last four appearances, Leonard has missed cut the cut three times and added a 39th place finish. The veteran will not be worth grabbing this week.

4. Ian Poulter

Poulter is normally a strong sleeper in tournaments like this, but the veteran has struggled in recent years at TPC Southwind. He finished 51st in 2013 and shockingly missed the cut in 2010. The Englishman will be another risky pick this week.

3. Patrick Reed

Reed was a popular fantasy option earlier in the year when he won the WGC-Cadillac Championship. Since that point, though, Reed has been worthless. In his last five tournaments, Reed has missed the cut three times, finished 52nd at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, and 48th at the RBC Heritage.

2. Webb Simpson

Simpson has not appeared at TPC Southwind since placing T29 back in 2010. Even worse, he enters the week on quite a cold streak. Simpson has missed the cut in three of his last six tournaments this year and Webb hasn’t cracked the top-20 in stroke play since January. He is one golfer to avoid at all costs this week.

1. Rickie Fowler

When Fowler finished fifth at the Masters everyone thought that this was finally going to be a breakout season for 25-year-old. Unfortunately, he has been seriously struggling since then. Fowler has missed the cut three times, finished 38th at the Wells Fargo Championship, and 77th at the PLAYERS Championship.
