For any fantasy baseball team, starting the right players is unsurprisingly the key to success. This is especially true in the immensely popular daily leagues, where a single player can mean the difference between a big payday and crushing disappointment. Based on matchups and talent, the following five players could all be in for an outstanding day on June 10 and deserve your utmost consideration.

Norris left Sunday's game early due to getting bonked on the head by Manny Machado's bat. All reports indicate that he's fine though, so it seems likely he'll be behind the plate this evening against left-handed starter Hector Santiago. It's a great matchup considering Norris' .344 average versus lefties this year, plus Santiago sports a terrible 0-6 record with a 4.82 ERA.

It's amazing how productive this guy has been considering his lack of power. Despite just one HR on the season he ranks 10th in the NL in RBIs, so just imagine what a little pop in his bat could do for him. He should be in for a good night regardless as he'll square off against Colby Lewis and his atrocious 5.77 ERA. McGehee is hitting .330 off right-handed pitching this year and owns a .429 average over his last five games.

3. 1B - Freddie Freeman: Atlanta Braves

The Braves 1B has been scuffling at the plate the last three weeks, but the stars may be aligned perfectly today for a breakout. Tonight's game at Coors Field will see the Colorado Rockies start Juan Nicasio who sports a 6.55 ERA in his last four starts, plus hehas allowed left-handed bats to hit .323 off of him this season. Freeman has faced Nicasio just 13 times but has managed three HRs, a double, a triple and four walks off of him.

2. OF - Jose Bautista: Toronto Blue Jays

This guy has been simply terrorizing pitchers in 2014. He ranks in the top 10 in the league in HRs, RBIs and runs scored, plus he's hitting a career high .309 so far. He'll square off against Kevin Correia tonight, and not only has he been one of the worst starters in the league, but Bautista has simply owned him. Nine at bats is a small sample size, but Bautista has managed six hits, including two HRs, against Correia.

1. P - Adam Wainwright: St. Louis Cardinals

Wainwright has been downright magnificent this season. In 13 starts he's allowed zero earned runs six times and allowed one or two earned runs on four occasions. He'll take his minuscule 1.68 road ERA and face the Tampa Bay Rays today. The nightmare season continues in Tampa as they've lost 13 of their last 14 games and have scored just 2.50 runs per game during that stretch. Wainwright is worth his weight in gold tonight.
