The majority of the field will be at home this week following the U.S. Open, but there will still be some stars making the trek down to Cromwell. To help you pick your fantasy foursome, here are five fantasy golfers to avoid at all costs this week at the 2014 Travelers Championship.

5. Erik Compton

Compton finished second at the U.S. Open, which was his third top-five finish. However, he missed the cut in the two tournaments before the major. Compton has always been a hit-or-miss option, but considering he is coming off a strong showing at the Open, his price tag will go through the roof this week.

4. Nick Watney

Watney has missed the cut in four of the last five tournaments, including last week at the Pinehurst. The veteran doesn’t have a single top-10 finish in 16 events this year and he continues to struggle week after week.

3. Patrick Reed

Since winning the WGC-Cadillac Championship, Reed has yet to show up at another tournament. He has missed the cut in four of the last seven events and the veteran has yet to crack the top-30. He should be avoided like the plague this week.

2. Louis Oosthuizen

Oosthuizen shot an amazing 67 in the final round of the U.S. Open, but he shot a 73 and a 78 in the two previous rounds. Oosthuizen has been just as unpredictable this year, as he missed the cut four times already. He will be one veteran to steer clear of this week at TPC River Highlands.

1. Ken Duke

Duke is the defending champ of the Travelers, but he has seriously struggled this season. Since February, Duke has not cracked the top-45 and he has missed the cut six times. He will be an extremely risky fantasy option this week.
