WR A.J. Green of the Cincinnati Bengals is easily one of the best wideouts in the game and will be a popular receiver on draft day. To help you construct your draft strategy, here is a statistical prediction for Green’s 2014 season.
Green has only missed one game throughout his three-year career and that was back in his rookie season. Fantasy owners can expect AJ to suit every single game barring any unforeseen injury.
Green caught 97 balls in 2012 and 98 in 2013. He has yet to crack the 100-catch plateau and this will be the year the wideout finally accomplishes the feat.
Green has become a yardage monster for fantasy owners and had six 100-yard games alone last season. He should end up with another 1,400-yard performance in 2014.
Green has never averaged more than 17 yards per reception. He catches plenty of long bombs, but he also catches many short routes and first downs as well.
Green has caught 22 touchdowns over the last two years and has become a perennial double-digit touchdown contributor for fantasy fans. He will easily haul in another 10-plus touchdowns and 12 seems like the magic number for Green in 2014.
