Sacks – 38
Seattle has racked up 80 sacks over the last two seasons alone, but the team lost veteran pass rusher Chris Clemons in free agency and will have a bunch of new faces on the line. Plus the team added rookies DE Cassius Marsh and DT Jimmy Staten in the draft. With all the new assignments, there is bound to be a drop in sacks this season. Seattle will still rack up close to 40 sacks, but don’t expect them to match the 44 from 2013.
Interceptions – 31
Seattle easily has the best secondary in the game, as the unit is anchored by big names like Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, and Kam Chancellor. The Legion of Boom makes a living on getting their hands on the football, and considering the talent roaming the secondary; there are hardly many spots to throw the ball against this Super Bowl winning unit. Look for them to once again pick off 30-plus passes this fall.
Force Fumbles – 10
The Seahawks know how to wrap up and they always swarm to the ball. As a result, the unit has become outstanding at jarring the ball loose. They will again be near the top of the league in turnover differential and will easily force 10 fumbles in 2014.
Defensive Touchdowns – 3
With all the talent in Seattle, the unit is bound to score touchdowns. They will be one of the few defensive units capable of scoring multiple defensive touchdowns in the upcoming season.
