The World Cup Finals are finally here and it has come down to Germany versus Argentina. Both teams feature an array of offensive superstars, so it will promise to be a very entertaining game for fantasy fans. For those of you still alive in your league, here are the top-five fantasy soccer players in the World Cup Finals.
Klose finally captured the World Cup record for most all-time goals by netting his 16th career WC goal. Luckily, though, he still has one more game to add to that prestigious total. The forward may be coming off the bench, but he continues to find ways to put the ball into the back of the net. Fantasy fans should expect the new Scoring King to add at least one goal in the Finals.
Neuer has been a brick wall on the backline for Germany. He has only allowed four goals through the team’s six games, including three clean sheets. He will make countless saves in the finals and will keep his team in it time and time again.
Germany continues to use Lahm in numerous different ways. He flips between midfield and defense, but he keep showing up in the box score game after game. Lahm will find a way to get onto the stat sheet in the Finals.
Muller has already scored five goals in this year’s World Cup and has become the youngest player ever to reach 10 goals. He has emerged as the new face of the German’s offensive attack and will be have an impact on the game in one way or another.
Messi has put on a clinic so far and the superstar has not disappointed fantasy fans. He has scored four goals so far and even added a PK goal. Look for Messi to score at least one goal in his quest for his first WC title.
