To help you pick your fantasy foursome this week, here are five golfers to avoid at all costs during the 2014 British Open.

5. Kevin Chappell

Chappell was a popular fantasy pick earlier in the year, as he posted three straight top-26 finishes, but he has seriously cooled off. Chappell has just one top-20 finish in his last five tournaments and he has missed the cut twice. The veteran is no longer worth keeping tabs on during fantasy drafts.

4. Graeme McDowell

McDowell started out the 2014 season on fire, as he racked up six top-10 finishes in his first seven stateside events. Unfortunately, he hasn’t cracked the top-20 in five straight tournaments. McDowell won’t be worth the asking price this week in Liverpool.

3. Harris English

English is in the middle of a breakout season, as he has six top-10 finishes. However, he has really slowed down this summer and has just one top-25 finish in his last nine tournaments. He has missed the cut four times over this stretch and will be an extremely risky fantasy pick at the British Open.

2. Ian Poulter

Poulter has racked up three top-20 finishes in his last four tournament appearances. Unfortunately, he has been dealing with a sore wrist and will be taking painkillers to limit the pain. Look for him to hit the wall in Liverpool this week.

This will be Tiger's second event since returning from back surgery. However, after missing the cut at the Quicken Loans National, he will still come with some risk this week. Fantasy fans should avoid Tiger in all formats until he plays a couple rounds of solid golf.
