To help you form your draft strategy this summer, here are the top-five fantasy football players from the Kansas CIty Chiefs.
Succop struggled mightily at times last season, as he was 5-for-12 on kicks over 40 yards. Luckily, Kansas City moves the ball with ease on offense and will give Succop plenty of chances to test out his leg. The kicker will be worth a look in leagues with 10-plus owners.
Kansas City was very conservative with Smith in his first year. However, the veteran still led the NFL with a 1.4% interception rate and averaged an impressive 2.3 touchdowns over the final five games of the 2013 season. Smith may only be worth grabbing as a backup this season, but he will be one of the most reliable backup quarterbacks in fantasy.
KC will be a great value pick this season. They were leading the league in sacks before being decimated by injuries, but the defense will be returning the core of their unit. Pass rushers Tamba Hali and Justin Houston will once again make this defense a legitimate top-five fantasy DEF/ST.
After a rough start to the 2013 season, Bowe finally started producing towards the end of the season. He caught four touchdowns in the final seven games, including his 150-yard performance in the playoffs. He may seriously drop in drafts this summer, but he will be worth a shot as a WR3 in deeper formats.
Charles was on fire last season. He scored 19 total touchdowns and racked up a career-high 1,980 all-purpose yards. He is not only the best fantasy player on KC, but he is worth consideration for the number one overall pick this summer. Charles likely won't repeat his staggering totals from last year, but he will do enough to be a top-five RB in all formats.
