While it may be great to spend a high draft pick on a top quarterback for your fantasy team, it doesn't always pay off. Sometimes, it's just better to wait and build the rest of your team first. Seasons that Peyton Manning had in 2013 are few and far between, so here are five quarterbacks you can wait on who will help you win your fantasy league.

Well, the Cincinnati Bengals certainly believe in him after his recent contract extension, and you should too. His performance has improved every year since his rookie year, culminating with 4,293 yards passing and 33 touchdowns in 2013. He has weapons on the outside, and he should be a solid quarterback option if you can't get one of the top five.

If Jay Cutler can stay healthy this entire year, he could put up monster numbers with Alshon Jeffrey and Brandon Marshall on the outside. Add in Matt Forte, Martellus Bennett and Marc Trestman's innovative offensive schemes, and Cutler could have the best season of his career.

3. Philip Rivers

His team may not be great, but Philip Rivers just puts up numbers. Rivers has only failed to eclipse 4,000 passing yards once since 2008. With Mike McCoy calling the plays, a budding star in Keenan Allen and a matchup nightmare in Ladarius Green, Rivers could match, or even exceed, his 2013 season. Rivers is a fantastic quarterback option.

2. Tony Romo

Look, I don't care what Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys do in November and December. All I know is that Romo puts up big numbers because the Cowboys will continue to throw the ball, no matter the situation. He also brings a rushing threat, which is plus.

On average, Matt Ryan is the 10th quarterback taken overall in fantasy drafts, and this is amazing to me. He will throw for more than 4,500 yards this year, and he will throw for at least 30 touchdowns. He has a healthy Julio Jones, Roddy White and Harry Douglas. He's going to put up big numbers this year, and I would be more than satisfied to have him on my roster.
