To help you form a draft strategy, here is a fantasy football statistical prediction for Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne.
After suiting up in every game for 11 consecutive seasons, Wayne missed nine games last season after tearing his ACL. He will take some time to get back into game shape and the veteran will likely miss at least one game this fall.
No matter how much attention T.Y. Hilton receives this offseason, Wayne is still the number one receiver in Indy. He will reclaim his spot on the outside and will once again lead the team in receptions.
Despite last season’s debacle, Wayne has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark in eight of the previous nine seasons. He is as experienced as they come and will add one more 1,000-yard season to his vast resume.
Wayne has never been a deep threat and the fact the aging wideout is coming off a knee injury will limit his explosiveness. However, he will be very active this year and will average just over 10 YPC.
Wayne has only scored double-digit touchdowns three times throughout his 13-year career. He hasn’t scored more than seven TDs since 2009 and will be a long shot to do it in 2014.
