Every season there are players who are overvalued. The following slideshow highlights five players who are currently costing fantasy football owners way too much on auction day.

Foster is currently going for $ 41.4 in ESPN auctions and I just can't imagine spending that much on him when Montee Ball is going for $ 29.0, Giovani Bernard is going for $ 26.1, C.J. Spiller is going for $ 16.9 and Andre Ellington is going for $ 14.3. All have question marks and all have upside, but I'll take the guys with a price that provides value.

Doug Martin is the same story as Arian Foster. Considering what the guys around him are going for, it's just way too much for the Buccaneers RB.

Bush is currently going for $ 23.5 in ESPN drafts while teammate Joique Bell's going rate is just $ 8.1. There's more than a small chance that these two end up in a straight platoon this season, and it wouldn't be a surprise if Bell ended up leading the committee in touches. I'll take Bell over Bush all day long and spend the $ 15 I'll save elsewhere.

2. Calvin Johnson, WR Detroit Lions

Look, there is no question at all that Megatron is the best receiver in the NFL. That being said, he's currently going for $ 51.3 in ESPN leagues; the second highest price tag on a receiver is Demaryius Thomas at $ 39.7. At the price he's going for, Johnson doesn't need to just finish the season as the No. 1 receiver to provide value -- he needs to do it by a mile.

1. Peyton Manning, QB Denver Broncos

What Manning did last season was absolutely incredible. Do you really think it's repeatable, though? I think it's much more likely he throws for 4,659 yards and 37 touchdowns like he did in 2012, his first year in Denver. Aaron Rodgers is going for $ 8.5 less than Manning (you could buy Torrey Smith with that!), Drew Brees is going for $ 13 less and Cam Newton is going for $ 35 less. I'll pass on Manning to buy Cam and Dez Bryant all day long.
