Everyone thinks that they are in the best fantasy league in the world and that no other league compares. To help you truly prove this theory, here are five signs that you are in well-run fantasy football league.
We have all seen the trophy (The Shiva) on the show The League. It is big, gaudy, and basically ridiculous. However, it is a testament to how infatuated that people can be with fantasy sports. The bigger your trophy, the better your league.
Whether it is through text messages or an online forum on your site, it is important to have owners openly communicating with each on a weekly basis, because communication leads to trades. Some leagues go all year without having a single trade, so if you are in an active league, then consider yourself to be in a very well-run league.
Most fantasy leagues have a free agent free-for-all or waiver priority system to pick up free agents. However, the most efficient way to pick up free agents is to have a weekly free agent run. It limits arguments about waiver wire priorities and relies solely on record. Having a weekly free agent run is further proof that your league is well-run.
Guys are generally late for everything, and even though we all love draft day, fantasy drafts are no different. There is always one guy that holds up everything by showing up to the draft two hours late. So if you happen to start your league on time each year, then you are in one of the most best fantasy leagues around.
There are arguments every fantasy season. However, if you have a written set of rules and a commissioner to enforce them, there aren’t nearly as many fights. Leagues will rules and a commissioner run much more smoothly throughout the year.
