After a disappointing, yet profitable, finish in the FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Championship, I'm back to help you decide which starting pitchers are the best to choose for a 15-game slate tonight. Usually, there are five SPs who stand out, and tonight is no different. Let's take a look at who they are.

(Prices are based off FanDuel salary-cap leagues)

5. Mike Fiers - Milwaukee Brewers ($6,200)

Mike Fiers has been on fire since making his return to the Milwaukee Brewers' starting pitching rotation. Along with a 2-0 record, he also has a 0.64 ERA, 0.57 WHIP and an incredible K/9 rate of 12.21. He gets to face the Toronto Blue Jays tonight who have been downright awful during August with a 4-11 record. Additionally, they've struck out an average of eight times per contest. This is a good spot for Fiers to continue his hot pitching streak.

4. Hisashi Iwakuma - Seattle Mariners ($9,200)

Hisashi Iwakuma has been extremely consistent since the month of July and has a great chance to continue it tonight. Over the last 30 days, he has an ERA of 2.04 with a 0.91 WHIP. The only disappointing aspect has been his K/9 rate which sits at 6.62. He has a great matchup against the Philadelphia Phillies tonight and they have lost five of their last six games; they've struck out 48 times during that span, which bodes well for Iwakuma.

3. Francisco Liriano - Pittsburgh Pirates ($7,500)

This matchup against the Atlanta Braves tonight may seem a bit scary due to Atlanta having the seventh best wOBA over the past week. However, Liriano has been pitching well over the past month with a 2.18 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 9.27 K/9 rate. Additionally, teams have hit for a batting average of only .161 against him during that span. It also helps that Atlanta is a worse team on the road, and that's where they'll be playing tonight.

2. Max Scherzer - Detroit Tigers ($11,400)

Mad Max has displayed masterful pitching all year and especially over the last 30 days. During that span, he has a 1.70 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and a superb K/9 rate of 11.19. He absolutely owned the Pittsburgh Pirates in his last start, and the same should happen in his matchup against the Tampa Bay Rays tonight. The Rays' wOBA over the past week is an awful .268, and this only increases Scherzer's chances for another dominant start and the win.

1. Stephen Strasburg - Washington Nationals ($9,700)

"Stras" has seen some ups and downs this year, but tonight should be one of his "up" nights as he squares off against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Arizona is ranked 28th in wOBA over the past week and their season almost looks to be over. Meanwhile, over the past month, Strasburg has a 3.45 ERA and a K/9 rate of 10.34. Additionally, the Washington Nationals are ranked 4th in wOBA over the past week. This makes Strasburg your top option for tonight.
