Fantasy football could bring out the worst in people, there is no doubt about that. Friends have been lost, money has been made and a lot of fun has been had. Are you a serious fantasy football owner? If you can relate to this top five list, then you are on your way to fantasy supremacy.

As fans of the NFL, we like to wear our favorite team's colors and wear them proud. It's one thing to wear your favorite team, but it's another to wear your No.1 fantasy pick's jersey. If you decided to go with Adrian Peterson in the first round and then decided to go and buy an AP jersey, it would be wise to look in the mirror to see where your loyalty lies.

There's not many things better than watching football on Sunday, but if you're watching a particular game just to see your No. 2 WR or starting defense play over a game that has impact on the NFL playoffs, then you are in trouble. Fantasy football is a great, great thing, but to sacrifice a game like the Packers vs. Bears just to watch the Rams' defense against the Titans is wrong on so many levels.

Most fantasy leagues involve friends, co-workers and even family members, but just remember, it's only a game. If you find yourself avoiding people you know just to keep your fantasy secrets safe, then you're going a little too far. No one likes to give away their sleeper waiver wire pickups for the week, but you can still keep in touch with others during the NFL season.

This one is hard to avoid, but it is done many times. It's inevitable that it's going to happen, but if you're a Redskins fan and you're rooting for Nick Foles to do well against your defense, then things can get a little dicey. It takes a true fantasy lover to root against his or her own team, but if it's going to happen, just make sure you are in the privacy of your own home.

I've considered this one many times, but I have yet to pull the trigger. Many real-life GMs offer cash and a player to be named later during trades, but just make sure you don't do the same thing. Don't go around trading house hold items like a new T.V. and $35 for A.J. Green even though it might sound like a pretty good deal at the time.
