It's time to get in line for those coveted waiver-wire pickups, but be careful. There's a lot of fool's gold in the mix when it comes to wide receiver. So which wideouts are worth grabbing this week? Here are my top five.

Streater had a solid performance in Week 1, making five grabs for 46 yards and a TD. With rookie Derek Carr under center, you can expect some inconsistency, but also a little improvement as the season moves along. Streater is too risky to start now, but stashing him on the bench could pay off later.

Calvin Johnson was the only wideout to outscore Hurns in Week 1. The undrafted rookie came out of nowhere to catch four balls for 110 yards and two TDs. Expectations should be tempered for him, however, as his big game was against a weak Philadelphia Eagles defense and without Cecil Shorts in the lineup taking his targets. He's by no means a must-start, but he's certainly worth a roster spot.

Floyd is big, fast, talented and he has a quarterback who can chuck it on his side. The 6-foot-5 vet is one of the most injury-prone receivers in the NFL, but as long as he's healthy, Floyd is a solid play. In Week 1, he made four receptions for 50 yards with a TD.

2. Kelvin Benjamin

I thought Benjamin was going to be an absolute zero. I thought he was too raw to succeed right away, but I'm eating my words. The rookie caught six of his eight targets for 92 yards and a TD. Benjamin figures to be a significant part of the Panthers' offense going forward. He's still available in the majority of leagues, but he won't be for long.

1. Markus Wheaton

Wheaton caught six of his seven targets for 97 yards against the Cleveland Browns. He's still available in most leagues, and the time to act is now. Antonio Brown will demand a lot of attention from opponents, and Wheaton has the skills to take full advantage. The second-year-speedster has breakout candidate written all over him.
