The tight end position continues to be one of the deepest spots in fantasy football, but there are some hidden gems out there. One of these underrated starts is Zach Ertz of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly has done wonders for this offense. They are suddenly scoring at will against opposing defenses in the league and their success has made every player on the roster into a more dangerous fantasy option. The same can be said for Ertz.

In Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the popular tight end caught three passes (five targets) for 77 yards and a 25-yard touchdown. It was a very promising performance and the 25-year-old has carved out a nice spot for himself in this high-powered offense.

Ertz has built a very strong rapport with QB Nick Foles. The third-year quarterback favors Ertz over veteran TE Brent Celek and the number of looks the young tight ends receives validates this theory. Ertz has a stranglehold on the starting gig and will only see more reps as he matures within the offense.

As long as they are putting up over 20 points a game, Ertz will continue to be a top-10 fantasy TE. He may not be on the level of Vernon Davis or Jason Witten just yet, but he can certainly be a worthy week-to-week starter from here on out.
