Kelvin Benjamin sure has been a nice pickup for fantasy owners everywhere this season. The Carolina Panthers‘ rookie sensation continues to light up their offense by making tough catches and proving he’s working hard towards keeping his team on a winning streak. He’s been handling the transition from college to the pros very nicely.
As the new favorite target for quarterback Cam Newton, Benjamin has exceeded all expectations so far this season. He’s already at 253 yards with two touchdowns this season and is looking to become the next big thing to hit the NFL in quite some time. He’s been the most targeted receiver on the team and has proved to have a knack for making big plays down the field.
In Week 4 action, he will face a weak defensive secondary in the Baltimore Ravens. Fantasy football owners should absolutely start him as he should have a field day against the Ravens.
The Panthers will launch a vertical attack that should work wonders against the Ravens’ defense with Benjamin as the centerpiece of it all. His workload has increased weekly, and he should get plenty of passes thrown his way in this matchup. If owners who don’t have him yet are are lucky enough to still find him on waiver wires, he’s a must-have option so acquire him immediately.
Overall, Benjamin will continue to produce heavy amounts of fantasy points as the season progresses. He’s due for a big game to solidify his impact and should have one against the Ravens. Owners will reap the rewards for having him in their lineup this week as he’s ready to take his young career to the next level.
