The tight end position was supposed to be loaded this fantasy football season. However, not all of the sleeper options, mainly Kyle Rudolph and Jordan Reed, have lived up to the hype.

One sleeper option that is finally starting to pan out, though, is TE Heath Miller of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Miller caught a career-high 10 passes in Week 4 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for 85 yards and a five-yard touchdown from QB Ben Roethlisberger. It was his first fantasy worthy performance of the year, but it doesn’t look like it will be the last from the veteran tight end.

Miller’s 11 targets prove that the team is ready to lean on him down the stretch this season. WR Antonio Brown has been lights out this year, as He has amassed 427 receiving yards through the first four games with five touchdowns.

Besides the speedster, though, the team hasn’t had a secondary receiving threat. Fellow WR, Markus Wheaton, has not developed as the team had hoped. He opened the season with a six-catch, 97-yard performance against the Cleveland Browns. Unfortunately, the youngster has averaged just 43.4 receiving yards in the previous three games and has disappeared altogether at times.

Now, more than ever, the offense needs Miller to consistently contribute. Miller should see five-plus targets per game until a complimentary wideout steps up opposite of Brown, and by the looks of things that doesn’t appear to be happening anytime soon.

Miller will be worth riding while he is this hot and should easily have another big game against a Jacksonville Jaguars unit that is the worst in all football. Another 70-plus yards isn’t out of the question for Miller this week.
