Week 5 is upon us, maybe the 2014 NFL Fantasy Football season hasn’t been good to you, but don’t lose hope; it’s not over yet.
If you missed out on some of the hot waiver wire pickups this week, here are five darkhorse players that you should consider.

In Week 5 the Rams are taking on a Philadelphia Eagles defense that I think is vastly overrated. On the season, Davis is completing about 70 percent of his passes and averages nearly eight yards per pass. If he can minimize the turnovers, he has a very legit chance to carve up the Eagle’s defense.

You might have heard that Jairus Byrd is done for the season, add to that the fact that Kenny Vaccaro is one of the worst defenders against the pass, and Seferian-Jenkins all of a sudden looks like a very good option at tight end, especially in PPR leagues.
Garrett Graham, TE, Houston Texans

Garrett Graham hasn’t been targeted much this season; in fact, he’s only been targeted 12 times. However, I think that he might be in for a pretty good game against a Cowboys’ defense that has been brutal defending the tight end. With Bruce Carter likely to miss this game, Graham would be an excellent start if you need a last-minute start at tight end.
Chris Ivory, RB, New York Jets

In Week 4, Chris Ivory all, but eliminated Chris Johnson from the Jets’ offense. Although Ivory’s not a polished pass catcher, he still led all Jets’ running backs in targets, which makes him, in my opinion, a darkhorse against the San Diego Chargers. In case you’re wondering why, the Chargers have given up four receiving touchdowns to running backs through four weeks of play.

The Cleveland Browns haven’t exactly been dominant against the run, and Sankey is clearly the most talented running back on the roster for the Titans. He found the end zone in Week 4, so if you’re in desperate need or just want to roll the dice, you could do a lot worse than Sankey this week.
