One wide receiver that was long forgotten in fantasy football drafts this summer was Indianapolis Colts WR Reggie Wayne. He tore the ACL in his knee during a Monday night game in front of the entire world and the star receiver ended up missing the team’s final nine games. As a result of the season-ending injury, the veteran was avoided like the plague this summer.

However, Wayne has been very productive this season, and he doesn’t look like a wideout nearing the end of his career. He has hauled in 30 balls for 384 yards through the first five games, including four games with over 60 yards. He has also caught one touchdown and his average of 12.8 yards per catch is right around his 13.5 career-mark.

Indy has a good matchup against a reeling Houston Texans defense. Hey are ranked 21st in the league against the pass and are giving up 22.2 fantasy points to opposing wideouts. The secondary has been unable to contain anyone this season and they will seriously struggle against the underrated Colts offense.

Wayne has some of the best hands in the game. He can catch anything and he knows how to gain separation downfield from opposing defensive backs. He should abuse this lackluster Houston secondary and another big fantasy performance.

Week 6 Projection: 7 REC., 82 YDS, 1 TD
