The Philadelphia Eagles are 4-1, tied for first in the NFC East. However, the best player on the team hasn’t contributed enough after five weeks. LeSean McCoy has struggled so far, but is ready to break out in Week 6. Expect a big game out of him in Week 6.

McCoy was a consensus top-three pick, some even had him as the No. 1 overall pick. Regardless, he hasn’t been worth that pick. McCoy is currently ranked as the 30th running back in ESPN.com standard leagues. His teammate Darren Sproles is ranked 13th.

The main reason for the struggling running back is the Eagles abandoning the run on their way to a comeback. McCoy has yet to have a 90-yard game, 81 yards is his most. He has gone three straight games without a touchdown.

Over the last three games, McCoy has scored a total of nine fantasy points. These lack of high-scoring games have frustrated fantasy owners. He is still getting carries, but the injuries to the offensive line has hurt the production of both running backs.

The Eagles face division rival New York Giants Sunday night. In 10 games against the Giants, McCoy has 788 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He also has 39 receptions for 234 receiving yards.

This has all the makings to be a high-scoring game. The Giants have put together a nice string of games and the Eagles are playing by the skin of their teeth. McCoy should be the difference maker in the game. While he won’t eclipse 100 rushing yards, he’ll get close.

Expect 72 rushing yards and 25 receiving yards with a touchdown (15 points).
