San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick appears to have finally hit his stride this fantasy football season. It took a 31-17 victory against the St. Louis Rams, but the 49ers offense looks to be firing on all cylinders, dropping a season high 432 yards and scoring over 30 points for the first time this season.

Kaepernick finished the game with 343 passing yards and three touchdowns, marking the first time in his career that he threw for three touchdowns and no interceptions. Kaepernick will need to have a similar performance if the 49ers hope to beat the Denver Broncos at home this Sunday.

The 49ers offense will have to step up as the defense will be without star linebacker Patrick Willis, and defensive backs Jimmie Ward and Tramaine Brock are questionable for the game.

The 49ers may have to rely heavily on their passing game this week, because while the Broncos pass defense are allowing 241 passing yards per game, they have one of the best run defenses in the NFL, allowing just 76 rush yards per game.

Kaepernick is averaging 243 yards per game, but he will be in for a rough week as the 49ers are coming off a short week going into Denver and playing without former all-pro guard Mike Iupati.  Kaepernick will have to get off to a strong start and set the tone against a Broncos team dead set on seeing quarterback Peyton Manning break the NFL record for passing touchdowns in a career.

Week 7 Fantasy Projection: 16 of 32 for 245 Passing Yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 4 Rushes, 28 Rushing Yards.
