To help you set your lineup this week, here are five must-start players for Week 9 of the fantasy football season.

After turning the ball over six times, QB Geno Smith was benched last week versus the Bills. Michael Vick will be the starting QB this Sunday, and given that he was responsible for three of those turnovers, it doesn’t seem like their offense is going to remedy the situation anytime soon. The Chiefs should have at least two turnovers in this one to go along with a handful of sacks as well.

Since making his debut in Week 5, Beckham has been a major cog in the offense. He has caught three touchdowns in three games and will continue to see targets with Victor Cruz done for the year. Look for OBJ to have another underrated performance on Monday night.

Week 9 Matchup: (vs. IND)

3. RB Jerick McKinnon, Minnesota Vikings

McKinnon has run away with the starting gig in Minnesota. He has finished back-to-back games with over 80 rushing yards and has emerged as a legitimate FLEX option in all fantasy formats. If you own this waiver wire darling, make sure he is active in Week 9.

Week 9 Matchup: (vs. WSH)

2. WR Andre Hawkins, Cleveland Browns

Hawkins is leading the Browns with 470 receiving yards this season, including 200 yards and one touchdown over the past two games alone. Cleveland faces a TB defense that has surrendered 29.4 fantasy points to opposing wideouts this season, which just screams for Hawkins to have another big game. Consider the former Toledo standout a must-start this weekend.

Despite being heavily ignore in drafts this summer, Gore is having another productive fantasy campaign. He has posted back-to-back 100-yard rushing contests and has suddenly distanced himself from the team’s crowded backfield. The Rams are currently 31st in the league against the run (144.7 yards/game), so Gore should have no problem positing another 80 yards against this defense he knows all too well.
