Building the Perfect FanDuel Lineup for Week 10

Building the Perfect FanDuel Lineup for Week 10

In this week's lineup, I've chosen a lot of favorable matchups against weak defenses. A lot of the games on this week's slate have fairly high over/under totals, so we should see a lot of high-scoring affairs. It should be yet another great week on the NFL calendar so let's dig in to the Week 10 feast.

Quarterback - Joe Flacco $7,200

Flacco hasn’t put up monumental numbers since his great showing in the Oct. 12 game against the Buccaneers. However, this matchup against the Titans could be just what he needs to get back to his fantasy glory days. There are certainly better plays this week, but at this price, he’ll do well enough to get you over the hump.

Running Back - Matt Forte $9,600

Forte is by far the best option at running back this week. Green Bay gives up 153.5 YPG, which is dead last in the NFL, and with Forte's ability to catch out of the backfield, this should easily be a 30-plus point day.

Running Back - LeSean McCoy $7,700

You should feel confident plugging the Eagles’ star back into your lineup. With Nick Foles going down, it should be no surprise that the running game will be front and center. Guard Evan Mathis was just activated for the first time since Week 1, so that will provide a huge boost of momentum for the entire offensive line and McCoy. Carolina gives up an average of 27.7 PPG to the running back position in fantasy this year.

Wide Receiver - Julio Jones $8,000

The reason for picking Julio Jones should be as simple as knowing that he’s going against the Buccaneers' defense, and it is, but everyone likes stats. Although Jones has struggled to post double-digits in each of his last three games, he has 28 catches for 555 yards and five touchdowns against Tampa Bay in five career games. In Week 3 against the Buccaneers, Jones had a monster night going for nine catches, 161 yards and two touchdowns.

Wide Receiver - Mike Wallace $7,000

Miami running back Lamar Miller has a banged up shoulder, which could limit the amount of work he’ll see on Sunday. That should make the Dolphins a one-dimensional team, throwing the football a lot more than usual. With the exception of the last two games (blowout wins), Wallace has gotten double-digit points in every game and found the end zone in five of eight games. I also predict that he’ll have his first 100-yard game of the season.

Wide Receiver - Davante Adams $5,200

Adams will probably be picked in a majority of leagues, but for good reason. Recently, he’s become a significant part of the Packers' passing attack. In the last three games, Adams has hovered right around the 10-point mark, and that’s right on par in terms of value for this cost. The over/under on this game is 53.5, so there should be a ton of offense as well.

Tight End - Heath Miller $5,300

This matchup against the Jets is a juicy one for Miller. The Jets’ defense gives up the most fantasy points on average to tight ends. Miller’s quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, is on an absolute tear right now and should have no problem finding him, hopefully in the end zone.

Kicker - Matt Prater $4,700

It’s time for a Detroit Lions kicker to step up, so we’ll just close our eyes and pray this is the week. You can never be too sure who is going to be the “hero of foot” each week, but I like the Detroit offense to move the ball decently well with a healthy Calvin Johnson back in the lineup. Prater still has a boot and I love him at this price.

Defense - Arizona Cardinals $5,100

This Cardinals defense is a solid unit at home. Add Austin Davis into the mix on the other side of the field for the Rams, and this makes for a very favorable matchup. They are guaranteed to get some turnovers in this one.
