Fantasy Football Week 10 Start or Sit: Jeremy Hill
In Week 9, Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard missed the first game of his short fantasy football career. The former first round pick was forced to watch form the sideline as he dealt with a hip injury and it was a painful blow to fantasy owners around the country.
In his absence, rookie Jeremy Hill received the starting nod last week against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was his first career start, but Hill had a breakout game without sharing touches in the backfield with Bernard. The first-year back racked up a staggering 154 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns, including a 60-yard TD gallop.
It appears that Bernard will miss his second straight game due to the team’s quick turnaround, which will once again leave Hill to tote the rock for the Bengals. This is the perfect chance for Hill to show what he can do, especially considering his matchup.
Cincy faces the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night football that has been abused by opposing backs all season long. The Browns are currently dead last against the run (140.3 yards/game) and are giving up 18.4 fantasy points per week to opposing running backs.
Hill has quietly scored five touchdowns this season, and even though he was supposed to only be a goal line back, he has emerged as a potential every-down back. He has proven that he can run between the tackles and he looks much faster than his 238-pound frame would suggest.
Hill is absolutely a must-start this Thursday night. He will see another 20-plus touches and should easily amass 80-plus yards against Cleveland’s lackluster defense.
