Jordy Nelson Fantasy Football Week 10 Projection

Jordy Nelson

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY Sports

Over the past several seasons, WR Jordy Nelson of the Green Bay Packers has been one of the most reliable wideouts in fantasy football. He may not receive the recognition of Calvin Johnson or A.J. Green, but Nelson has quietly outperformed both of them throughout the 2014 fantasy season.

Nelson has matured into the become top weapon for QB Aaron Rodgers. The wideout has hauled in 50 balls for 737 yards on the year and six touchdowns. He has averaged an impressive 92.1 yards per game and he is currently the one of the top wideouts in every fantasy format.

Despite the monster numbers, Nelson caught just three balls last week for 25 yards. He failed to catch a touchdown for just the third time this season. However, it is nothing to worry about, because Nelson hardly ever has poor performances in back-to-back contests.

Luckily, Nelson faces a Chicago Bears team that he abused earlier in Week 4. He caught 10 balls for a staggering 108 yards and two touchdowns. The Chicago secondary simply can’t contain Nelson downfield and the versatile wideout will be running all over the place this Sunday.

Nelson is one of the safest bets at the position. He will once again have a big game this weekend and will finish among the weekly leaders.

Week 10 Fantasy Projection: 5 rec., 102 yards, 1 TD
