This past Sunday we saw yet another quarterback go down with a serious injury, as Nick Foles of the Philadelphia Eagles fractured his collarbone against the Houston Texans.

Foles is expected to need between 6-8 weeks of recovery time and will likely be out for the rest of the regular season. Needless to say, it is a dreadful finish to an absolutely dreadful season for the popular offseason sleeper.

Stepping up last week in his stead was journeyman QB Mark Sanchez. He finished last week’s game 15-for-22 (68.2 %) with 202 passing yards and two touchdowns. Sanchez played well after coming into the game and looked more than capable of running Chip Kelly’s fast-paced offense.

Sanchez will once again start this week for the Eagles as they take on the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football. The former first round pick hasn’t started since the 2012 season with the New York Jetswhen he was practically laughed out of the league, but he has no competition and will have the starting gig job from here on out.

Philadelphia has a slew of weapons to surround Sanchez, including All-Pro talents RB LeSean McCoy and WR Jeremy Maclin. Sanchez never had a supporting cast like this in New York, and even though he will likely turn the ball over on occasion, he should still have some very productive fantasy outings, starting with this Monday.

Week 10 Fantasy Projection: 21-41, 223 yards, 2 TDs, 2 INTS
