Another week, another list of players to pick up. Some players are filling in for injured teammates while others are exploding onto the scene and must be owned. There is a special player on this list who is returning from suspension and could help your team make a run for the playoffs. Regardless, try to claim some of these players before your opponents. Here are five players to claim off the waiver wire for Week 12.

Alfred Blue

With Arian Foster out recovering from his groin injury, backup rusher Alfred Blue took advantage. He rushed 36 times for 156 yards. If Foster misses a few more weeks in order to recover, Blue will get the majority of the carries. Blue and the Houston Texans will face a suspect Cincinnati Bengals defense that allow the second-most rushing yards. Blue is available in 33.9 percent of ESPN.com leagues.

C.J Anderson

C.J. Anderson is another running back taking advantage of injured players. Ronnie Hillman is out with a foot injury, which allowed Montee Ball to get his job back. That didn't last long as he aggravated his groin injury. Although Anderson had just nine carries for 29 yards, he was a target in the passing game in the absence of Julius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders. Anderson is available in 22.2 percent of leagues.

Jordan Matthews

Talk about a wide receiver playing out of his mind as of late. In his first seven games, Jordan Matthews scored just 35 fantasy points. In the last three games, he scored 51 points. Most of his success has come with Mark Sanchez under center. Sanchez is targeting him early and often. Matthews has four touchdowns over the last three weeks. He is clearly the No. 2 option for the Philadelphia Eagles and will succeed in a pass-first offense.

Tre Mason

Tre Mason is making the best of a bad situation. In Week 1, the St. Louis Rams starting running back was Zac Stacy. Fast forward to Week 11, Stacy is not even in the picture. The rookie running back is getting most of the carries for his team. He's carried the ball 62 times for 226 yards over the last three weeks. He had 113 yards against the touted Denver Broncos rush defense. He faces the San Diego Chargers in Week 12, 17th against the run.

Josh Gordon

He's back.

Josh Gordon served his suspension and has been reinstated by the Cleveland Browns; and not a moment too soon. The Browns offense has been flat over the last few weeks. While Brian Hoyer isn't playing poorly, he just has no one to throw it to. Andrew Hawkins and Miles Austin are 49th and 56th in fantasy. Gordon missed the first two games last year and led the league in receiving yards. He will spark any fantasy team when he plays.
