5 Players To Deal at the Fantasy Football Trade Deadline

Ben Roethlisberger

The fantasy football trade deadline is rapidly approaching. Also coming up quick is the end of the season. If you sit near or at the top of your division, the playoffs are likely in your future. In order to assure a championship, you need to cut bait on some players and bolster your current lineup. Here are five players that, if you own them, should be traded.

Arian Foster

Arian Foster looked to be 100 percent at the beginning of the season. He rushed 55 times for 141 yards and a touchdown. Things quickly crashed back down to Earth. He missed Week 3 and scored just five points in Week 4. Foster then had a nice stretch of games, but was out for Week 11. This kind of inconsistency will not do your fantasy team any favors. If you need help at another position, use Foster's name to get some help.

Who?

Yes, Kenny Britt can get you some help at other positions this trade deadline. He's been quiet for most of the season, but had his breakout game in Week 11. He caught 4 passes for 128 yards and a touchdown. If you own Britt for some reason, hopefully you can find an owner who thinks he will have another game like this. Odds are he won't and you could add some depth to another position.

Ben Roethlisberger proved why people call him 'Big Ben.' It's not because of his size, it's because of the big fantasy numbers he can put up. In Weeks 8 and 9, he threw for 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions, scoring 79 fantasy points. However, that flame burned out. In the last two weeks, he threw just two touchdowns and three picks for just 23 fantasy points. Big Ben is a 15-18 point guy, not 35-45 points.

LeSean McCoy

Another running back with a lot of name value, LeSean McCoy was a top-three pick in most drafts. Unfortunately for his owners, McCoy hasn't played like it. Despite on pace for 1,200 rushing yards, he has scored just two rushing touchdowns. Owners are hoping that he bounces back against the Titans, but you can win a a fantasy championship based on hope. While you probably can't trade him, he could get you a top-10 wide receiver.

Mohamed Sanu

Mohamed Sanu has been one of the biggest surprises this fantasy season. In A.J. Green's absence, three games, Sanu caught 18 passes for 299 yards and a touchdown. Now that Green is back and continues to stay healthy, Sanu's value declines week after week. Over the last two games, he hasn't eclipsed 25 receiving yards. It doesn't help that Andy Dalton threw for three picks against the Browns. Trade Sanu while he still has some value.
