Fantasy Football Week 12 Start Or Sit: Emmanuel Sanders

Emmanuel Sanders hasn’t fully practiced this week and is as of now questionable for this weekend. As the Miami Dolphins are going on the road to face the Denver Broncos in Week 12 action, what should fantasy owners do in regards to starting or sitting Sanders? Considering the fact that he’s dealing with a concussion, his abilities could be severely limited, and he could miss this game entirely.

Sanders has to go through the NFL‘s post-concussion protocol before he’s even medically cleared to play in this game. Considering that he was just mostly a spectator at practice, he might not get the nod to start in this matchup and rightfully so. It’s never a good idea to rush someone into a lineup after dealing with neck and head injuries.

Fantasy owners should sit Sanders this week. Even if he does make an appearance in this game, he won’t be able to contribute much. At the current moment, he’s only been cleared to do conditioning drills, which means he most likely won’t be ready for game day. See the pattern? It would be unfortunate to waste a precious spot on your fantasy football lineup on him, only to find out he was ruled out moments from the start of the game.

It’s in the best interest of fantasy owners everywhere to stay far away from Sanders this week. Look for other wide receivers on your bench who could be in line for a strong game since by the looks of it, Sanders is a no-go. Even if he plays, you’re better off with someone else anyway.
