Building The Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For Nov. 25

There are only five NBA games taking place, and this limits the options that a DFS player has to put together a favorable team. It also doesn't help when there are some elite players with extremely high price tags, tempting you to take them. Therefore, it's important to be careful when trying to construct the perfect FanDuel lineup. With that being said, it's time to get busy and start piecing together the ideal lineup for November 25.

John Wall is easily a top-five PG in the NBA right now, and when the Wizards play at home, he is virtually unstoppable. Some may worry about his matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, who ranked 12th in defending the PG position, but they've actually been ranked 19th over their last three games and have been trending down over the past week. This creates the perfect storm for "The Great Wall" to have a monstrous 50-plus fantasy point night.

This is a "pay up for PG" night as loading up on this position can possibly give you over 100 fantasy points combined from two players. Against a Miami Heat team ranked 23rd in defending the PG position, I feel it's almost mandatory to roster Steph Curry. It's been two games since his last 50-plus fantasy point night, and this game has all the makings of a fantasy explosion for him. Personally, it wouldn't surprise me if he hit 60.
SG: Austin Rivers - New Orleans Pelicans - $3500

Since you've spent a lot on the PG position, it's time to find some good value plays for the night. The first one is Austin Rivers and he has an opportunity to prove his worth as a former NBA lottery pick who has been a bust so far. Due to Eric Gordon's torn labrum, he now has the opportunity to receive 29-34 minutes a game and should take advantage of this. Facing a Sacramento Kings team ranked 19th against SGs, he should easily score over 20.
SG: Giannis Antetokounmpo - Milwaukee Bucks - $5700

With a price of $ 5700, the Greek Freak needs 28.5 fantasy points to reach his value, and he should have no problem accomplishing this now that he plays starter minutes. In his last two games logging over 30 minutes, he had fantasy outputs of 42.4 and 36.3 points. Facing a Detroit Pistons team ranked 17th against SGs, he should be able to at least justify his price, and his size creates great mismatches against any Pistons SG who guards him.
SF: DeMarre Carroll - Atlanta Hawks - $5300

There is nothing flashy about this Carroll's game, but you have to love his consistency. Over his last six games, he has averaged 24.3 fantasy points, and that's just under the 26.5 he needs to justify his price. He gets to face a Washington Wizards team that's ranked fourth against SFs, but they have been slowly trending down over the last 10 games. His "Jack of All Trade, Master of None" skillset makes him a safe, yet sneaky pick for the price.
SF: Wilson Chandler - Denver Nuggets - $5300

It's a good strategy to target against teams on the back end of a back-to-back games, and this is one of those scenarios. The Chicago Bulls played on Monday while the Denver Nuggets had the night off. This bodes well for Wilson Chandler, who has been scorching hot lately, averaging 33.1 fantasy points over his last three games. There's no need to fear the Bulls' defense against SFs as they're ranked 19th in that regard.
PF: Anthony Davis - New Orleans Pelicans - $12,000

Admittedly, his price is nothing short of absurd. However, the play of Anthony Davis has been absurd in its own right, and I'm willing to pay up for his incredible upside. Over his last four games, The Brow has averaged 51.8 fantasy points and he needs 60 to justify his price. In a home game, where the score keepers tend to be extra generous to him statistically, I believe that we'll see his third 60-plus fantasy point game over his last five.

After breaking the bank to fit in Anthony Davis, it's essential to find two more value picks that have the potential to exceed their value. The first player who I feel is up for the task is this former Minnesota Golden Gopher. He needs 21 fantasy points to justify his price, and he's eclipsed that total in four out of his last six games. The Atlanta Hawks being ranked 26th in defending the PF position bodes well for him to eclipse 21 easily.
C: Timofey Mozgov - Denver Nuggets - $4900

With $4900 left in your salary cap, there is a sneaky option that many people may be afraid to take. Mozgov needs roughly 25 fantasy points to justify his value and has averaged 26.8 over his last four. He gets to face the Chicago Bulls, who rank 18th in guarding centers and have dipped to 22nd over the last five games. Since this is the second game of a back-to-back for the Bulls, a letdown is possible and Mozgov should exceed value again.
