Fantasy Football Week 13 Sleeper: Teddy Bridgewater

Teddy Bridgewater continues to do well even in close games that see him face a ton of pressure. The Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback plays with aggression and a huge amount of confidence to get the job done. Last week, despite a loss to the Green Bay Packers, Bridgewater notched two touchdowns and did good damage through the air and even on the ground.

Even though he threw an interception and was sacked twice in this matchup, fantasy owners should still start him as their QB2 option this week. Considering he will be facing the Carolina Panthers in Week 13, he’s in a good position to continue minimizing his mistakes and throwing touchdowns.

Since Bridgewater also has a knack for making big plays on the ground with his good speed, expect to see him also rack up a few more fantasy points from his rushing yards. He had 32 yards last week, and he might run even more against the Panthers to add another dimension to the Vikings’ offensive game plan.

It’s not easy dealing with a loss, but so far Bridgewater has handled his rookie season in stride when it comes to bouncing back. He should use his loss to the Packers as motivation to really come out swinging against the Panthers to leave victorious. He should have a very nice game for fantasy football owners everywhere.
