Finding value plays is paramount for in DraftKings NBA games, particularly in GPP play as many tend to front-load their lineups and are in need of some adequate cheaper options to fill out their roster. Here's a look at the top five value plays for Jan. 14.

Now that the Denver Nuggets have traded Timofey Mozgov to the Cleveland Cavaliers, J.J. Hickson is becoming an adequate fantasy option on a regular basis. Over his last four games, he's played between 20-32 minutes and has scored 11 points twice and 16 points twice, while also recording two double-doubles. He should accumulate no less than 20, and up to 35 fantasy points against Tyson Chandler since Dallas is on a back-to-back.

4. SF Marvin Williams - Charlotte Hornets - $4,800

The Charlotte Hornets have not experienced a ton to be happy about thus far this season, but perhaps they have taken solace in the fact that Marvin Williams has stepped up in Al Jefferson's absence. Do not let his SF designation fool you -- he is playing the four and is a double-double candidate every time out.

3. SG Devyn Marble - Orlando Magic - $3,600

With Tobias Harris out, Devyn Marble has started two straight games at SF for the Orlando Magic and has done a serviceable job for fantasy purposes, especially at near minimum price. He's accumulated eight steals in those two starts, and has exceeded 20 fantasy points each time. Marble will give Trevor Ariza fits all game due to his quickness.

2. PF Jae Crowder - Boston Celtics - $4,600

Since being traded to the Boston Celtics from the Dallas Mavericks, Jae Crowder has taken advantage of the opportunity to start, particularly since the Celtics also parted ways with Jeff Green. On Monday, Crowder played 36 minutes against the New Orleans Pelicans, scoring 22 points with three rebounds, three assists, four steals and two blocks, utterly destroying his value with 42 fantasy points. He could do something similar on Wednesday.

Mario Chalmers is a completely different player when Dwyane Wade sits out due to oldness. This is indeed the scenario once again on the second game of a road back-to-back out west. Chalmers should play 30 minutes and hit a minimum of 25 fantasy points, but could exceed 30 without doing anything spectacular.
