Ian Rutherford-USA TODAY Sports

The fantasy golf season is just getting underway. The majority of the big names on the PGA Tour (Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson) have yet to make their official 2015 debuts, so they won’t be moving up the rankings this season anytime soon. Veteran golfer Jimmy Walker, on the other hand, is having a spectacular season so far through the 2014-15 season.

Here is a look at his numbers so far on the year.

Walker’s Tournament  Results Finish
Frys.com Open Solo 64th
Shriners Hospital Open T4
WGC-HSBC Champions T35
Hero World Challenge Solo 15th
Hyundai Tournament Champions 2*
Sony Open 1

* – playoff loss

As you can see in the above chart, Walker has made the cut in all five of his tournament appearances this year. He shockingly has four top-15 fishiness already, including another win at the Sony Open last week. Walker may be 37 years old at this point in his PGA career, but he is clearly having an elite fantasy season so far and is the hottest golfer not he entire Tour.

Walker will be a top-tier fantasy golf option from here on out. J-Walk is truly having a break out fantasy season and the veteran has earned his spot along the other elite golfers in fantasy. He will be worth an early pick in any tournament that he turns in a card.
