The fantasy basketball waiver wire is always jam-packed with veteran forwards, but only so many of them have the ability to hold down a roster spot, especially with all the big names missing time due to injury. However, one forward that has earned his spot on fantasy rosters is John Henson of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Henson has scored double-digit points in five of the past six games, averaging 10.7 points per game over those six contests. The forward has  shined since taking a spot in the starting lineup and he has made the most of the extra minutes.

Henson has also put up some strong post numbers. He has averaged 7.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game over his six-game hot-streak. To go along with his impressive point totals over the past few weeks, Henson has quietly emerged as a mid-level rebounder for fantasy fans. Milwaukee has one of the most crowded frontcourts in the game, but as long as Henson keeps playing like this, the team will have to keep him in the rotation.

Henson won’t be an All-Star pickup by any means, but he will be a reliable reserve option. He should be able to post 10 points and five boards from here on out, so don’t be afraid to take a shot on the former UNC standout.
