The Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For March 2

Five-game slates can be incredibly lucrative in FanDuel fantasy basketball, as many novice FanDuelers will make way too many lineups out of boredom. Thus, putting together something balanced without a ton of risk can often lead to gold in 50/50 and H2H games. Now, I give to you the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup for March 2 in that exact scenario.

PG - Greivis Vasquez - Toronto Raptors - $4,100

All-Star PG Kyle Lowry has officially been listed as out for the Toronto Raptors' contest with the Philadelphia 76ers this evening, leaving Greivis Vasquez to start in his place. Taking down the Sixers is hardly a chore for an AAU team, so Toronto should have no problem coasting to victory and its players will put up monster fantasy stats.

PG - Ricky Rubio - Minnesota Timberwolves - $7,500

There are only two games on this five-game slate that are expected to reach 210 points according to the folks in Vegas, and the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Minnesota Timberwolves is one. Thus, rostering a PG from this matchup was paramount for me when building this lineup. But with so much value at the position, and much less elsewhere available, Ricky Rubio made more sense than Chris Paul.

SG - DeMar DeRozan - Toronto Raptors - $6,400

As mentioned, Kyle Lowry has been ruled out for the Toronto Raptors this evening which means added responsibility will be placed on the aforementioned Greivis Vasquez and SG DeMar DeRozan to score the ball. Averaging 28.4 FPPG, and only needing 32 fantasy points to hit 5x value, DeRozan has a chance to be the top bang for the buck option on this slate.

SG - Eric Bledsoe - Phoenix Suns - $8,900

If Goran Dragic suits up for the Miami Heat, his matchup with the Phoenix Suns' Eric Bledsoe becomes by far the most intriguing of the slate as the former teammates will undoubtedly be looking to one up each other in efforts to prove Phoenix made the right/wrong decisions concerning their long-term tenure with the organization. Bledsoe's ownership percentage will be marginally lower than usual coming off a bad game, giving him some added appeal.

SF - Andrew Wiggins - Minnesota Timberwolves - $6,600

With Kevin Martin either out or limited this evening, Andrew Wiggins is going to have to pick up the slack if the Timberwolves have any intentions on swiping a victory at home against the Los Angeles Clippers. There's always an outside chance that Minnesota will get completely blown out on any given night rendering its players useless in fantasy basketball, but the odds are similar that Wiggins will go for 50-plus.

SF - Richard Jefferson - Dallas Mavericks - $3,500

The Dallas Mavericks are floundering of late and will take on the New Orleans Pelicans without Tyson Chandler and Chandler Parsons. Dallas simply is in need of solid minutes from the remainder of its makeshift roster, including the near minimum priced Richard Jefferson. Jefferson will log over 30 minutes and give you all you need; cap relief, and around 20 fantasy points.

PF - Nerlens Noel - Philadelphia 76ers - $6,800

The Philadelphia 76ers were already having a difficult time sending out an NBA-caliber starting five onto the court on a nightly basis, and now Robert Covington along with Jason Richardson will miss this evening's contest. PF Nerlens Noel is essentially a must-play as a result.

PF - Dirk Nowitzki - Dallas Mavericks - $6,300

As mentioned, the Dallas Mavericks are sick and tired currently, and need as much as their few remaining starters can give them. Dirk Nowitzki is old, but he's not THAT old to where he cannot answer the call with a huge game. The New Orleans Pelicans are down two frontcourt members of their own in Ryan Anderson and Anthony Davis, which gives Nowitzki some added appeal.

DeAndre Jordan has played out of his rebounding mind since the Los Angeles Clippers have been without Blake Griffin, and this evening against the Minnesota Timberwolves shall be no different. Jordan is primed to accumulate his third straight 20-plus rebound game against Gorgui Dieng, Nikola Pekovic or whoever Minnesota ultimately decides to send to try and get in his way.
