It seems ludicrous to ever trade LeBron James in fantasy basketball, but there are a few perks to it. Here are the top five reasons why you should trade King James in fantasy basketball this season.

Some leagues don't punish you for turnovers, but with LeBron the playmaking comes with it. He is averaging 4.3 turnovers per game this year which is the highest total for him in his 12 seasons.

Even though LeBron is having another MVP-caliber season, he actually is shooting his worst percentage (49 percent) since the 2008-09 season. He's also shooting his lowest three-point percentage since his first year in Miami and his lowest free-throw percentage since 2007.

He's averaging 5.8 rebounds per game which is still top 10 among small-forwards, but this is actually his lowest average since his rookie season. Putting up 5.8 RPG isn't too shabby, but most people expected him to continue to stay in the seven or eight per game area.

The older a player gets, the less minutes he will play. LeBron is starting to get to the point of his career where he's saving himself in the season for the playoffs -- and it shows. He's averaging the least amount of minutes per game in his career. You'll also notice he occasionally will miss a game here and there if it's deemed winnable without him.

You can basically trade LeBron for anything you want. If you're craving depth or multiple players for your fantasy team and have LeBron, it's not a bad idea to trade him for two or three very good players. The return for King James will almost always be higher than any other player in the league.
