Building the Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For Mar. 4

It's another Super Wednesday on FanDuel, and this may be one of the biggest Super Wednesdays in recent memory. Not only is there a $2 Qualifier for the WFBBC Finals in Miami, but there is also the Mega Slam tournament in which first place will receive $100,000. Therefore, with a huge 13-game slate tonight, it will be necessary to build a perfect lineup in order to emerge victorious. Let me show you one of the ways to achieve that.

With an over-under of 205.5 for the contest between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers, Chris Paul is my top PG play for the night, and I have no problem paying his five digit salary. In his career against Damian Lillard, Paul averages around 46 fantasy points per outing, and he should see similar success tonight, especially since Portland hasn't been guarding PGs well lately. I like Paul for at least 40 with 50-plus upside.

Over his last six games, Deron Williams has averaged 32.3 fantasy points and performing more like the Utah version of himself, where he was arguably the best PG in the league not named Chris Paul. In a matchup tonight against a Charlotte Hornets team giving up 33.7 PPG and 10.3 APG over their last three games, Williams should have no issues scoring at least 30 fantasy points. However, I get the feeling that he could be in for a 40-plus night.

For his current price, Rodney Stuckey needs to score 26.5 fantasy points tonight to make value. Over his last five games, he's been exceeding value by averaging 32.4 fantasy points, and he gets a super favorable matchup against the New York Knicks tonight. It's no secret that the Knicks can't really stop anyone, and they've been giving up more than 30 PPG to SGs over their last three games. This bodes well for Stuckey to score 25-plus tonight.

(SG) Will Barton - Denver Nuggets - $4,500

Up until his most recent dud against a defensively underrated Milwaukee Bucks team, Will Barton was averaging 27 fantasy points in his five games. I can forgive him for his most recent game, and I feel that he will bounce back in a major way against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. Minnesota has struggled to defend SGs all year, and Barton makes for a great value pick who will score at least 22 with 30-plus upside.

Facing a Milwaukee Bucks team that struggles to defend PFs, which is Draymond Green's real-life position, I really like his chances to have a big game tonight. Granted, the Golden State Warriors are a 13.5-point favorite, so there's potential for a blowout. However, Green should still see anywhere from 32-38 minutes tonight, and has proven to have 40-plus upside on any given night. Therefore, I like him to score between 32-42 tonight.

(SF) Gordon Hayward - Utah Jazz - $7,700

In Gordon Hayward's last game against the Boston Celtics, a team coached by his former college coach Brad Stevens, he went ballistic and destroyed them for 47 fantasy points. It seems like Hayward has a big game whenever he gets to play against his former coach, and I don't expect that to change tonight against a Boston team that struggles against SFs. Hayward needs to score 38.5 to make value tonight, and I feel he will break 40.

Over his last 10 games, Derrick Favors has failed to eclipse the 30-fantasy point barrier only once, and this includes a couple of 40-plus performances. He's been extremely consistent and draws an extremely favorable matchup against the Boston Celtics tonight. Boston is awful at defending PFs, and lately they've literally been the worst team in regards to that. Therefore, Favors should have an easy time scoring at least 35 with 40-plus upside.

The Charlotte Hornets face the Brooklyn Nets tonight, and this should be a good spot for Cody Zeller to score the 25 fantasy points that he needs to make value. Brooklyn hasn't been defending PFs well lately and are giving up 16.3 PPG and 11.3 RPG over their last three games to that position. Zeller's been averaging more than 25 fantasy points in his last three games, and I feel he will be score between 25-30 tonight to justify his price.

Over his last five games, Alexis Ajinca has averaged 28.8 fantasy points and has been producing well with Anthony Davis and Ryan Anderson sidelined. Tonight, he gets to face the Detroit Pistons, who, for some odd reason, can't seem to stop big men even though they look like they should. Ajinca has been performing at a fantasy point-per-minute clip lately, and I feel that tonight bodes well for him to score at least 27 with 30-plus upside.
