Building The Perfect NBA FanDuel Lineup For Mar. 5

If you're taking the plunge into the murky waters of a two-game NBA FanDuel schedule, why not do so equipped with the tools necessary to succeed? Here's your perfect NBA FanDuel lineup for Mar. 5.

The Chicago Bulls are now relying on Aaron Brooks to facilitate in Derrick Rose's absence. But considering Jimmy Butler and Taj Gibson are out as well, Brooks is doing more scoring than usual out of utter necessity. Thus, for $ 4,800, Brooks has 7x value upside in this one.
8. PG - Russell Westbrook - Oklahoma City Thunder - $12,000

Russell Westbrook is officially the highest-priced option I've ever seen on FanDuel, but it's for good reason. Over his last three contests, Westbrook has accumulated 74.3, 68.1 and 87.2 fantasy point per game performances, respectively. As long as Kevin Durant remains out, these otherworldly showings could happen any given night which makes paying the king's ransom to roster Westbrook worth it currently.
7. SG - Monta Ellis - Dallas Mavericks - $6,700

The Dallas Mavericks have managed to stay very much alive in the Western Conference playoff picture despite getting some putrid play from Rajon Rondo of late and injuries throughout their starting five. One constant, however, has been Monta Ellis. Priced just at $ 6,700, Ellis clearly carries one of the highest 5x value probabilities of any option on this slate.
6. SG - Tony Snell - Chicago Bulls - $3,800

Rostering a player who is starting for his team at just $ 3,800 on a two-game slate is a no-brainer. While Tony Snell does not add much in the secondary and tertiary statistical departments, he will log 30-plus minutes and has scored in double-digit points on the floor now in five straight games. Snell should easily provide you 5x value, but he'll likely push closer to six minimum.
5. SF - Richard Jefferson - Dallas Mavericks - $3,600

Richard Jefferson has played somewhere between 27-34 minutes per game over the Dallas Mavericks' last five games as Chandler Parsons has been lost to injury. This will continue against the Portland Trail Blazers in what will be a competitive, high-scoring Western Conference powwow. Fire Jefferson up as the value play of the day with confidence.
4. SF - Nicolas Batum - Portland Trail Blazers - $5,600

Two game slates call for desperate measures -- there is no way around it. Nicolas Batum is not someone I would normally target on FanDuel, but the SF spot is barren on six-game nights, so this two-gamer gave me virtually no choice. I would have preferred to leave this spot empty, but FanDuel doesn't allow incomplete rosters to be entered unfortunately.
3. PF - Pau Gasol - Chicago Bulls - $9,400

Pau Gasol is the Chicago Bulls' anchor currently, as the franchise has been absolutely bombarded with devastating injuries to Derrick Rose and Jimmy Butler. Gasol's a shoo-in for 20 points and 10 rebounds of late, so I'd expect nothing less against Serge Ibaka and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
2. PF - LaMarcus Aldridge - Portland Trail Blazers - $9,800

LaMarcus Aldridge is truly one of the most underrated NBA players in recent memory. Playing out in Portland with the Trail Blazers, most of America just doesn't get to see him play enough. It's simply a crying shame since it's a sight to see. While the country is fawning over Russell Westbrook tonight, Aldridge will be out in Rip City balling out of his mind like the baller that he is.
1. C - Chris Kaman - Portland Trail Blazers - $3,800

Even on a two-game slate, there's going to be plenty of FanDuel purists who simply cannot process the thought of rostering a player who won't even see 20 minutes in the game. Thus, Chris Kaman's ownership percentages are going to be somewhat low this evening across the entire industry. Kaman is such a high point per minute option that he could hit 5x value even in just 10 minutes of play.
