The 2015 fantasy baseball will start in under 30 days. To help you recognize which players to draft, here are the projected hitting stat leaders for the upcoming fantasy season.

Altuve led the majors with a .341 batting average in 2014. He has a career .304 average and has quickly become a fantasy star. I expect him to once again be on top of the MLB at the end of the 2015 season.

Stanton has hit 30-plus home runs in three of the last four seasons. He would have reached the milestone again last season if it wasn't for the fact that he missed the final few weeks with a broken bone in his face. This will be the first 40-home run season of Stanton's career.

It makes sense that the player who belts the most home runs will likely finish with the most RBIs as well. Stanton drove in a career-high 105 runs last season and the extra games in 2015 will allow the slugger to build on that total.

Run Scored – Mike Trout: 112

Trout has scored a whopping 353 runs over the past three seasons, which is the most in the majors over that span. He has become the best run producer in the game.

Stolen Bases – Dee Gordon: 71

Gordon was a full-time starter for the first time in his career in 2014 and the result was a 64-steal season. The speedster moved to Miami in the offseason and will be given the green light to steal as man bases as he wants. Gordon should have no problem posting another 60-plus steals in South Beach.
