The Seattle Mariners brought in OF Nelson Cruz, the 2014 home run champion, this offfseason to bring some power to the lineup. Their front of the rotation is beyond reproach and the team seems to be on the verge of a playoff run. To help you rank the talent on the team, here are the top five fantasy players on the Seattle Mariners.

Iwakuma took a bit of a step back last season, as his 3.52 ERA was almost an entire point up from the 2.66 ERA he posted in 2013. However, his 1.05 WHIP was nearly the same as the 1.01 he recorded in 2013. Even better, his K/9 increased from 7.58 to 7.74 and his K/BB increased from 4.41 to 7.73. Iwakuma will be a strong SP4-SP5 to grab in the middle of the draft.

Seager has quietly developed into a top-five 3B, behind of course the big three in Adrian Beltre, Josh Donaldson and Evan Longoria. Seager has smacked 20 home runs in three straight seasons, capped off by a 25 HR and 96 RBIs in 2014. Seager will be worth the high asking price on draft day.

Cruz led the majors with 40 homers last season and the veteran was highly sought after this offseason. Unfortunately, home runs are much harder to come by in Seattle. I don't see the aging outfielder coming anywhere close to his 2014 numbers, so draft him with caution this spring.

2. 2B Robinson Cano

Cano witnessed a serious power outage in his first year in Seattle. He 25 or more homers between 2009-13, but he hit only 14 last season. His 82 RBIs were also his lowest total since 2008. Luckily, Cano still posted a .314 average, which was his sixth straight season over .300. Cano is still the top second baseman, but his lack of power will keep him out of the first round.

Hernandez has been the epitome of durable throughout his fantasy career. He has recorded over 200 innings in seven straight seasons, including four 230-inning seasons. He has also recorded an ERA under 3.10 in three straight seasons, capped off by his 2.14 ERA in 2014. King Felix is right behind Clayton Kershaw.
