If you played yesterday’s perfect lineup, then you know that it scored 272.7 points and was good enough to cash in 50/50 games. The goal is to score 300-plus every night, so there is some work to do despite winning last night. There are six games scheduled for tonight’s action and many ways to approach your lineup construction. Allow me to show you one of those approaches as we build the perfect NBA FanDuel lineup for Mar. 15.
(PG) Ish Smith - Philadelphia 76ers - $6,500
Getty ImagesThe Philadelphia 76ers square off against the Brooklyn Nets tonight which is a good spot for Ish Smith. He scored 31.9 fantasy points in his last game against them, and the Nets have given up the sixth-most fantasy points to PGs this month. This bodes well for Smith to score at least 30 fantasy points. It wouldn't surprise me at all if he finished with 35-plus.
(PG) Emmanuel Mudiay - Denver Nuggets - $6,100
Getty ImagesExcluding a couple of dud performances, Emmanuel Mudiay has been on fire over his last 10 games. He is averaging 29.5 fantasy points during the span and 33.3 over his last six games. He gets to face an Orlando Magic team tonight that's giving up the third-most fantasy points to PGs so far in March. This should lead to a 30-plus night for impressive rookie.
(SG) Jordan Clarkson - Los Angeles Lakers - $5,700
Getty ImagesJordan Clarkson is averaging 25.2 fantasy points over his last four contests, but I expect him to score more than that tonight. He will face the Sacramento Kings, and they're a team that's been bad against SGs all season long. They haven't shown any signs of improving in that regard this month, and Clarkson should take advantage. I foresee a 30-plus night for him.
(SG) Gary Harris - Denver Nuggets - $5,200
Getty ImagesI've recommended Gary Harris a few times throughout the season and he hasn't disappointed. I feel even better about playing him these days since his usage numbers have increased and his minutes remain high. He gets to face the Orlando Magic tonight, and they've given up the sixth-most fantasy points to SGs this month. Harris should be able to finish tonight with 30-plus.
(SF) Kawhi Leonard - San Antonio Spurs - $8,900
Getty ImagesThe San Antonio Spurs face the Los Angeles Clippers tonight in a game with the lowest projected total according to Las Vegas. This won't deter me from selecting Kawhi Leonard as he has 40-plus potential on any given night. Considering the fact that the Clippers are struggling against SFs this month, I expect Leonard to score between 40-50 fantasy points.
(SF) Bojan Bogdanovic - Brooklyn Nets - $4,100
Getty ImagesBojan Bogdanovic can be a very frustrating player due to his inconsistent outputs. However, he is averaging 22.8 fantasy points over his last two games and is in a good spot against the Philadelphia 76ers tonight. The 76ers are ranked 26th in defensive efficiency against SFs this season and, despite showing some improvements this month, Bogdanovic should be able to exploit them. He will score 21-plus.
(PF) LaMarcus Aldridge - San Antonio Spurs - $8,000
Getty ImagesI've decided to stack LaMarcus Aldridge with Kawhi Leonard today since they're the top 1-2 punch for the Spurs. It also helps that his opponent, the Los Angeles Clippers, have given up the third-most fantasy points to PFs this month. Aldridge is averaging 44.9 fantasy points over his last four games, and I can see him scoring a similar number tonight.
(PF) Carl Landry - Philadelphia 76ers - $4,400
Bill Streicher-USA TODAY SportsDue to the plethora of injuries that the Philadelphia 76ers have been dealing with, Carl Landry has been receiving some extra run lately. He is averaging 27.4 fantasy points over his last two games and will face the Brooklyn Nets tonight. Brooklyn has given up the fifth-most fantasy points to PFs this month which should lead to Landry scoring 22-plus.
(C) DeMarcus Cousins - Sacramento Kings - $11,100
Getty ImagesI don't recommend trying to get cute with this selection. DeMarcus Cousins is my top player of the night facing a Los Angeles Lakers team that defends centers poorly. He is averaging 51.6 fantasy points against them this season while the Lakers are ranked dead last against his position. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, there is no reason for Boogie to score any less than 50 tonight.
