Drivers around the NASCAR circuit either love or hate Martinsville Speedway. It is a deadly half-mile track and the race features at least a couple of wrecks each race. So to help you pick the best possible fantasy NASCAR squad this week, here are five sleepers for the 2016 STP 500.

5. Paul Menard

Despite the lack of attention around the fantasy world, Menard has a solid track record in Martinsville. He has cracked the top 15 in three of the last four races and has been a constant towards the front of the pack. Menard will be an absolute steal as a third fantasy driver this weekend.

4. Kasey Kahne

Kahne isn’t necessarily a reliable fantasy option on a week-to-week basis, but the veteran has recorded back-to-back top-11 finishes on this track. He will fall well outside of the top 10 fantasy options, which would make him worth a look as a second or third driver this week in Virginia.

3. Martin Truex Jr.

After starting the season with two top-10 finishes, Truex Jr. has seriously hit the wall. However, he has rattled off back-to-back sixth-place finishes at Martinsville and will be readily available after the top 10 fantasy options. MTJ will be a great sleeper to find in the middle of the draft.

2. Matt Kenseth

Kenseth’s last race in Martinsville didn’t exactly go well. He started 18th, finished 38th and didn’t even finish the race. However, he has an average finish of 7.14 on this track in the seven races before that disappointing outing. Don't overlook his past success on this track, because he will be a bargain as a second driver.

1. Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Earnhardt Jr. is one driver who always shows up in Virginia. He has three top-five finishes in the past four races in Martinsville, including a win back in 2014. Junior will be a sleeper anywhere outside of the top five drivers this weekend.
