The PGA field will be heading down to the Lone Star State this week for the Valero Texas Open. However, not all of the big names (Jordan Spieth, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Adam Scott) will be making the trip. So to help you pick out the best possible fantasy golf foursome this week, here are five sleepers for the 2016 Valero Texas Open.

5. Freddie Jacobson

Jacobson will be one of the top sleeper picks this week. Despite his T50 at the Valero Texas Open in 2015, the veteran rattled off six straight top-20 finishes, including three top-five finishes. Don’t let Freddie fall too far this week in Texas.

4. Daniel Summerhays

Despite the lack of attention in fantasy circles, Summerhays will be a solid sleeper pick this week as he has shockingly rattled off three straight top-10 finishes at the VTO. Summerhays will be an amazing value pick as a third golfer in San Antonio.

3. Bryson DeChambeau

The 22-year-old put on a show at the Masters and nearly stole the major. He had to settle for a T21, but the performance clearly put him on the map. He also followed it up with a T4 at the RBC Heritage. DeChambeau will be a solid second golfer to go after this week in Texas.

2. Phil Mickelson

Mickelson has yet to figure out TPC San Antonio. He has made the cut in only one of his two career appearances, including a less than impressive T30 in 2015. However, he has played well this season. He has six top-20 finishes on the year, including three top-five finishes. Lefty will be worth the mid-round gamble this week.

1. Matt Kuchar

Kuchar has made the cut in four consecutive trips to the Valero Texas Open, including a T15 in 2015 and a T4 in 2014. Even better, he is coming off a solid T9 performance at the RBC Heritage. Kuchar’s solid track record and recent hot streak will make him a steal anywhere outside of the top-five golfers in San Antonio.
