5 Biggest Sleepers At QB In 2016 Fantasy Football

A pass-heavy league makes a lot of quarterbacks fantasy relevant, either for an entire season or in spurts as a matchup or daily play. With 2016 fantasy football time coming soon, here are my top five sleeper quarterbacks.

5. Teddy Bridgewater, Minnesota Vikings

Better structure around him has Bridgewater in line to improve this year, with a shift away from a run-heavy approach probably coming. If his third season doesn't bring a step forward, Bridgewater might never be a real fantasy asset.

4. Alex Smith, Kansas City Chiefs

Smith is boring aesthetically, but he completes a lot passes (65.3 percent in 2015) and adds an underrated element on the ground (498 rushing yards, two scores last season). Predictable upside and downside makes Smith a solid fantasy sleeper.

3. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears

Cutler averaged a career-best 7.6 YPA in 2015, with 21 touchdowns and 11 interceptions (three in Week 17 alone). Losing offensive coordinator Adam Gase hurts, but the prospect of having healthy wide receivers makes Cutler a fantasy sleeper this year.

2. Ryan Tannehill, Miami Dolphins

Tannehill threw for a career-high 4,210 yards in 2015, but his development clearly stagnated under Miami's previous coaching regime. New head coach Adam Gase should help things a lot, so Tannehill is in line to thrive in 2016.

1. Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills

Taylor's first season as a starter went fairly well, topping 3,000 passing yards with 568 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns. More of the same should come this year, and Taylor's dual-threat ability allows him to maximize his fantasy impact.
