14 Frozen Moments from the 2012 NHL Winter Classic
The New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers put on quite an exhibition for the 46,967 fans lucky enough to occupy Citizens Bank Park in Philly.
The 2012 NHL Winter Classic is in it's fifth year of existence and this years addition did not disappoint. It had drama, excitement and good old fashioned NHL action set in an old school pond hockey atmosphere.
It was the Rangers that rallied from a 2-0 hole to beat the hometown Flyers 3-2 and pick up a crucial two points in the standings.
The game was great to watch at full speed but it really comes to life in those special frozen moments
