Video: Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins’ Youtube Cameos
Recently, a phenomenon of videos poking fun at various cultures and subcultures has swept Youtube–a phenomenon with an expletive in the title, the “[Expletive] people say” video. There are, uh, things people say videos for basically any group of people you can imagine: women, men, athletes, various nationalities, vegetarians, vegans, cat owners, dog owners, etc. However, the Things Edmontonians Say video is good not only because it’s funny (“What is in those bins?” “I’m between the pirate ship and the penguins!” and the protracted debating segment about the Oilers) but because the creators managed to score some pretty big cameos from the Oilers’ Jordan Eberle and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins along with Oilers reporter Gene Principe. They discuss the finer points of life in Edmonton, including the city’s media, sidewalk shoveling and getting something to eat. Check it out:
