Keegan Bradley and Phil Mickelson Look In
In what has become the pairing of the year, the veteran Phil Mickelson and Ryder Cup rookie Keegan Bradley made each of its matches look like child’s play, winning all three of their foursome matches, with the final one tying the Ryder Cup Record for widest margin of victory, with a 7 and 6 win over Lee Westwood and Luke Donald.
Keegan described the Friday of the Ryder Cup as “the best day of my life.” Saturday should be a close second then as Phil and Keegan worked perfectly in the alternate shot together, almost looking like one golfer the way their shots played off each other.
Phil went and even compared his match-up with Keegan Bradley with the legendary pairing of Steve Ballesteros and current European captain Jose Maria Olazabal, who are the most successful pair in Ryder Cup history.
The US captain, Davis Love III gave Keegan and Phil the afternoon off, to let them rest and get ready for the singles matches that will conclude the Ryder Cup for this year.
