After a look back at the great golf season we had in 2012 that saw Tiger Woods take a giant step in resurrecting his game, winning three tournaments and getting back near the top of the world rankings, to the domination of Rory McIlroy on both the PGA and European Tours, we can only hope 2013 provides the excitement of the previous twelve months.
And who could forget the excitement the 2012 Ryder Cup brought to golf fans throughout the world. Team USA dominated Thursday and Friday play, only to see a total collapse during the Sunday Singles letting Team Europe celebrate at Medinah before taking the cup back to Europe for the next two years.
The 2012 golf season will be a tough act to follow in 2013. Professional golf has turned the corner once again, and becoming more of a world sport instead of just individual tours languishing in mediocrity, has fans throughout the world following events around the globe.
