2014 Masters: Bubba Watson Will Capture His Second Green Jacket
Bubba Watson is in position to win the 2014 Masters. He is tied for the lead going into the final round. There is no Tiger Woods in the field. No Phil Mickelson. Everything is setup for Watson to capture his second green jacket.
Watson had his worst round of the tournament on Saturday. He shot a 74, but that 74 was still good enough to keep him tied for the lead when the day was done. Unfortunately, I doubt Watson will be able to shoot a bad round like that again. Well, if he wants to win his second Masters.
The field is wide open and there is no Tiger Woods in sight. Not to mention, the person Watson is tied with at the top of the leaderboard is only 20 years old. Advantage Bubba Watson.
Jordan Spieth has played very consistent all tournament, but I am sure the nerves will kick in today. If not, well, we could be looking at the next big thing in golf. Winning the Masters is not an easy thing to do. That is especially true when you are only 20 years old.
Still, Watson has been here before and he has already rocked the green jacket. He knows what it takes to win at Augusta.
With that in mind, there are 13 golfers in the negatives. The leaders are at minus-5, so one bad hole could set Watson and Spieth back quite a bit. That is usually the nature of golf.
Watson has the experience, he is a big name in golf and he will capture his second green jacket today.
